Living Limnognathia maerski from Greenland. Anterior of the animal is at the top. The jaws and pharynx are seen as a rounded structure in the posterior part of the head. The paired ovaries are situated in the abdomen. The egg to the right is large and most mature. Stiff sensory hairs extend from the body, especially in the anterior end.
